Extraloveable
Universal Music Group
You got a dozen little sexy tricks.
Extraloveable was released as an MP3 on 23 November 2011 via Prince’s official download store, 3rdEyeGirl.com, initially to promote the Canadian leg of his solo Welcome 2 America Tour. The song is a re-working of a much older recording of a the previously released Prince track of the same name (but spelt Xtraloveable) dating from 1982. That version was originally for the album Vanity 6 but was not included in the final album. The original 1982 version was due to be included with Warner Brothers’ 2019 release 1999 Super Deluxe Edition however was omitted from the final tracklisting due to the reference to rape in the lyrics.
The 2011 version of this song featured a rap by his then girlfriend, Andy Allo. A further updated version of this song (Extraloveable Reloaded) was also released on 3rdEyeGirl.com on 19 June 2013, containing a horn section but with Allo’s rap removed. This version was renamed Xtraloveable and released on 12 December 2015 on what would be Prince’s final album, HITNRUN Phase Two.
