Paisley Park tours
Tours of Prince’s home and recording studio complex in Minneapolis.
Official website by the Prince Estate, charting the formative years of young Prince Rogers Nelson as he grew up in Minnesota. It accompanies his biography, The Beautiful Ones. Features many interview clips.
Insightful podcasts produced by the Prince Estate, walking through Prince’s discography. Contributions by former bandmates and associates, putting context to Prince’s iconic albums. Free to stream on Google.
All the pictures you can want, and they are official too, as is the account. The pictures take the shape of a Prince love symbol – zoom the page out in the browser and try it yourself, plus – this one gets the conspiracy theorists going – Prince began the collage on Valentine’s Day 2016 and completed on April 14 – the day of his last ever concert.
Rock It Poole
Wrecka stow in the south of England, and great place to visit whenever you are in town. Full of long out of print and rare items, CDs, t-shirts, Controversy mags and vinyl, plus all the left-over stock discovered in storage at Paisley Park, and the staff are lovely too. There is a little museum there also, dedicated to our purple hero.
Do the important thing and follow @GoldiesParade, also.
The Digital Garden
The Internet’s completely over. All these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can’t be good for you.
Below is the sad roll call of the official Prince sites sadly no longer with us. Sorely missed and fondly remembered. Rest in peace NPGMC, in your Recycle Bin of our dear Internet’s ever after:
