Around The World In A Day Deluxe confirmed

Prince’s seventh album, Around The World In A Day is to be released as a Deluxe Edition on 21 November 2025. The release of the new package has been confirmed by The Prince Estate following their announcement at this year’s Celebration at Paisley Park. The package will bring some relief to fans having seen no physical release since Diamonds And Pearls Super Deluxe in October 2023 and has led to a growing frustration against the new management which took over the Estate in 2022. However, many have taken to social media to also express disappointment the new release will not contain songs from the vault.

Around The World In A Day Deluxe will comprise two discs in the CD issue and three in vinyl format (pressed on 140g vinyl) – both formats will be available on the same day. Disc one contains the original album, plus the full 23-min version of America which the Estate published on streaming services on 4 July to signpost the (now confirmed) Deluxe Edition issue. Disc two comprises remastered versions of the B-sides that supported the original album back in 1985. This will also include reissues of both versions of 4 The Tears In Your Eyes – making the We Are The World version available for the first time since the 1985 charity album. As now confirmed, unlike Purple Rain Deluxe of 2017 the new release will not include outtakes or other previously unavailable material. This is likely due to the possible crossover with Parade which the Estate also confirmed at the June Celebration can be anticipated for release as a Super Deluxe Edition to mark the album’s 40th anniversary in March 2026.
