New York park turns Paisley

Prince gave his own special wake up call on Good Morning America to a packed Bryant Park, New York on 16 June. The free show from 7am, surprised the capacity crowd with Let’s Go Crazy, Get On The Boat and Tamar’s Redhead Stepchild. Making a full day of it, Prince went on to play the small night club Butter, 415 Lafayette Street, the show literally sold out in minutes. Prince also received an accolade during his trip to New York, a Webby award for his achievements on the internet. The Webby’s are considered the internet’s equivalent to the Oscars.
