2004 was always going to be Prince’s year. It started with him opening the Grammy’s, then he makes a multitude of TV appearances. In March he is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and now Prince and the NPG have released the first dates of the Musicology Tour which will start in the US this April. The tour will be used to retire off his hits to cash in on the 21st anniversary of Purple Rain, more so he is reportedly on the verge to be signing with a major record label, J.Records and BMG have been mentioned as well as his old nemesis – Warner Brothers (how times have changed). For full details on the tour visit the Tour page for all confirmed dates as announced at the pre-tour press conference at the El Rey Theater on 24 February. He also confirmed that the tour will be going worldwide.
