The Hop Farm, a festival founded in 2008 on May 18th confirmed in a surprise announcement Prince will be headlining a specially added third date to the event which is to take place at Tunbridge Wells, Kent 1st, 2nd and now 3rd of July. The news also that this will be his only show will be a snub to Glastonbury organisers who hoped to secure Prince to their bill. Prince has not performed in the UK since 2007s 21 night at The O2, for his Earth Tour. Event organisers are delighted the “integrity to the bill” Prince has bought this up and coming festival, which on its two other days, Morrissey (Friday), The Eagles (Saturday) will be headlining. Other acts joining Prince on the Sunday include, Tinie Tempah, Larry Graham, Eliza Doolittle and Imelda May.
