Prince is heading to Europe for a solo Piano tour named Prince Spotlight: Piano & A Microphone (that’s solo, no backing band) to start at the Konzerthaus in Vienna on 24 November, and run to the 22 December with a show in Brussels.
Whilst these are the only two dates known as yet, the out will visit 16 cities in total and is set to include four cities in the UK (London, Liverpool, Birmingham, Glasgow), two in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and one in city each in Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France, Austria, Spain (Barcelona), and Belgium (Brussels).
The announcement, delivered personally by Prince at a press conference held at Paisley Park on Sunday 8th, was made public the following morning by Spanish tabloid, El Pais, and points out it will be a theatre tour and each show to be improvised, with no defined set list.
