The L4OA charity will be holding its first sale of tour memorabilia outside the USA. The sale will be held at the Rock and Pop Fair in London on 1 and 2 April. All proceeds will go to the Centrepoint charity for London’s homeless, which benefited from a clothes drive held at the Jam of the Year concerts at Wembley in August 1998.
Update
It was a pleasure to meet the husband and wife team running the L4OA stall at the record fair in London on 1 and 2 April. All proceeds went to their charity Centrepoint, which provides a much needed helping hand for Britain’s homeless. As Prince fans themselves they showed a genuine interest in simply chatting to the many fans who went to the two day event purely to visit the stand and snag a rare Crystal Ball set (‘hockey puck’) for a mere £10. Bargain! Let’s hope they run more of these events for the future and we wish Centrepoint a well deserved success.
