Due to “unknown” reasons beyond Prince’s and the promoters control, his stadium show planned to take place in Dublin’s Croke Park Stadium on 16 June 2008 was cancelled due to contractual issues. The show is slated to be rescheduled for 2009 however may more likely be superseded by a more upscale European tour following the release of his next album. Those who bought a ticket are being offered a full refund.
